Unarmed Security/ Bag Screener

A temporary position for an event in Grapevine September 11-15, 2024

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Screener to join our team. As a Security Screener, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties:
– Conduct thorough searches of individuals, luggage, and vehicles entering or leaving the premises
– Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel to prevent and resolve security incidents
– Manage conflicts in a professional and courteous manner
– Maintain a high level of awareness of the environment and report any suspicious activity
– Perform loss prevention duties, such as monitoring for theft or pilferage
– Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure compliance with security protocols
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
– Experience in law enforcement or security screening
– Strong communication and conflict management skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Military background or experience with militarized security procedures
– Knowledge of surveillance technology and techniques
– A clean and professional demeanor
– Ability to adhere to strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality
– A high level of attention to detail and ability to identify potential security threats

Applicants must be able to demonstrate their skills and experience in security screening and have a strong commitment to maintaining the safety and security of our premises.

Attendance bonuses will be active for this event. All shifts worked that are scheduled will earn the screener $100, working double shifts will earn the screener an extra $200. This will be added to the total for the entire event.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
