Level 3 Armed Security Guard

Job Description:
Armour Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Level 3 Security Guard to provide overnight security coverage for a construction site in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial for individuals who are committed to ensuring the safety and security of valuable assets and property during non-operational hours. The selected candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the construction site while the crew is off-duty, preventing unauthorized access, and responding promptly to any incidents. This is a full-time overnight position, running from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a pay rate of $22 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine security patrols of the construction site to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the protection of equipment, materials, and property.
• Implement security measures to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access during overnight hours.
• Act as the primary responder to any emergencies or incidents that occur on-site, managing situations swiftly and effectively to minimize damage or loss.
• Monitor site entry points to control access and prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the premises.
• Maintain constant vigilance to detect and address any signs of suspicious activity, potential threats, or security breaches.
• Liaise with construction management and local law enforcement as needed to ensure comprehensive site security.
• Document and report any incidents or irregularities, ensuring that all security protocols are followed.

Requirements:

• Valid Level 3 guard card is required.
• Personal security gear and a firearm, with the authorization to carry both on the construction site.
• Experience in security roles, preferably within construction or industrial environments.
• Strong surveillance and situational awareness skills.
• Proven ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with construction crew members and law enforcement.
• Availability to work overnight shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
