Level 2 Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Level 2 Security Officer to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities by implementing advanced security protocols, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise will help protect assets, ensure compliance with safety standards, and foster a secure atmosphere for staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patrols of premises, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones, to deter unauthorized access and detect potential threats
• Manage access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations using established protocols, including administering first aid or CPR when required
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents to support security operations effectively
• Enforce safety policies and conflict management strategies to de-escalate disputes and maintain order on-site
• Document all incidents accurately through detailed reports, including CCTV footage review, incident logs, and shift summaries

Skills

• Proven experience in security roles
• Strong understanding of law enforcement procedures and conflict management techniques
• Certified in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during emergencies(helpful but not required)
• Background in military or law enforcement service is highly advantageous(helpful but not required)
• Excellent observation skills combined with the ability to analyze situations quickly and effectively
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities efficiently
