Armed Security Officer in Fort Worth (Level 3 only)

SMITH PROTECTIVE SERVICES, INC. is seeking highly motivated, vigilant, and dedicated Commissioned Security Officers licensed through the Texas Private Security Bureau to join our team in Fort Worth.

All applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid Texas driver’s license
• Hold a valid Commissioned Security License.
• Be at least 25 years of age.
• Maintain a working telephone.
• Provide approved firearm and duty gear at the time of hire.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Consent to a pre-employment drug screening.
• Agree to a comprehensive background investigation, including but not limited to criminal history, employment performance, and character references.
• Demonstrate flexibility and availability to work on a 24/7 schedule.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Protect Clients and Assets: Ensure the safety and security of clients, their properties, and associated facilities.
• Maintain Vigilance: Monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
• Respond to Incidents: Act promptly and professionally in emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, or security threats.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance to clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices in all security operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
