Job Overview
As an Unarmed Club Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons and staff. Your responsibilities will include managing entry and exit security, performing ID checks, conducting bag and person searches using a metal detecting wand, and ensuring compliance with club policies. You will also oversee the clearing of the parking lot and ensure that guests do not leave the premises with drinks.
Key Responsibilities:
Entry and Exit Security:
Monitor and control access to the club by verifying guest IDs and ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
Conduct exit inspections to ensure that guests comply with club policies and do not leave with drinks or prohibited items.
ID Checks:
Perform thorough ID checks to verify the age and identity of patrons, ensuring adherence to legal and club requirements.
Use proper ID verification techniques and tools to prevent entry of underage or unauthorized individuals.
Bag and Person Searches:
Conduct bag searches and utilize a metal detecting wand to ensure no prohibited items are brought into the club.
Guest Management:
Monitor and manage guest behavior to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
Handle any security incidents or disturbances promptly and professionally.
Drink Control:
Ensure that guests do not leave the premises with drinks, implementing appropriate measures to prevent this.
Parking Lot Management:
Oversee the clearing of the parking lot during and after club hours, ensuring the area is secure and free from any safety hazards.
Conduct regular patrols of the parking lot to deter and address any suspicious activity.
Closing Procedures:
Assist in closing procedures, including ensuring all areas are secured and that the premises are locked up properly.
Requirements
-Clean background
– Previous experience in the military or law enforcement is preferred
– Possession of relevant security certificates is a plus
– Knowledge of surveillance techniques and procedures
– First aid, CPR, and conflict management skills are beneficial
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
