Security Officer (Concierge Experience)

We are seeking to hire Unarmed, Non -Commissioned experienced, committed officers. Weekdays and Weekends, 1st and 2nd Shifts.

**Applicants must have a Security License & Valid Driver's License

** At least 5 years of Security experience.

**5 years of Customer Service experience.

**Position requires extended standing.

International Guard Services is looking for competent Security Officers to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. Officers will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior.

Security officers must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help deter crime, and implement safety. Provide the company excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure property, patrol tours, and scan checkpoints
• Patrol and provide a physical presence to deter criminal activity
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Complete Daily Activity Reports, Access Control Reports, and Incident reports
• Dependable and Committed to the Security Industry

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as security officer (5 year minimum) or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Concierge Experience
• Professional, great-communication skills
• Experience with Smart phone apps, Computers, and surveillance systems
• High School diploma is required

Qualifications:

• Must possess a HS Diploma or GED
• Must possess a Social Security Card or current work authorization
• Must maintain reliable transportation
• Must maintain a working home phone or cell phone
• DD-214 if applicable (Honorable Discharge)
