Security Officer

*Job Summary* We can help anyone get level ll license. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding to incidents as they arise. A strong background in security practices, loss prevention, and conflict management is preferred. *Responsibilities* – Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. – Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken. – Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security protocols are followed. – Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities and maintain records of incidents. – Enforce company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to all individuals on the premises. – Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. – Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations as required. – Provide first aid or CPR assistance when needed, ensuring the well-being of individuals in distress. *Requirements* – High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus. – Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is preferred. – Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies. – Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV operation is advantageous. – Must possess a valid first aid/CPR certification or be willing to obtain one upon hire. – Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts. – Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. – Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the position.

Pay: $14.41 – $17.72 per hour
