Pay: $27.50-$35 per hour, depending on training, experience, & current qualifications

Status: Part Time / Flex

Position Summary:

First Responder Protective Services is looking to add additional Security Agents to our growing team. To be eligible, you must currently have a valid Level III TX Security Guard License, have the Personal Protection Officer endorsement ("Level IV"), up to date on firearm qualification, and have been licensed for at least 1 or more years.

Current openings for security agents allow for a flexible schedule, with the opportunity to become full-time in the future. This position consists of high level security work, with a mixture of uniformed and plain clothes assignments. Uniformed assignments are high end assignments. This will NOT be working at a convenience store, gas stations, liquor stores, cocerts or anywhere where the primary business revenue is derived from the sale of alcohol.

We partner with professional clients and organizations, who are demanding experienced, and polished security professionals. All security agents should be well versed in customer service, be both safety oriented while cognizant of each client's needs & requests. Our clients request services that require a mixture of BOTH a uniformed and plain clothes assignments. If you are not wanting to wear a uniform, or will only do so begrudgingly, do not apply.

Uniform shirt, uniform pants and OC spray are all issued items. Security agents must furnish their own firearm and ensure it is on the approved manufacturer list with the FRPS firearms coordinator. For any uniformed assignments, security agents must also have at minimum, a level 2 retention holster. Plain clothes assignments range from casual, business casual to business professional, depending on the specifics of the operation being planned.

FRPS is looking to add security professionals ranging from relatively new to this career field (at least one year of experience req'd) to seasoned professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess high levels of integrity, professionalism, willingness to train, strong work ethic and contribute well to a team approach.

• Flexible schedules

• W2 position (OT starts after 40 hours in same work week & taxes taken out)
• Bi-weekly direct deposit payment
• Opportunity for advancement to full time as staffing allows. Full time positions come with a robust benefits package to include PTO, medical insurance and 401k. FRPS pulls from proven part time security agents to bring up to full time positions when an additional spot is needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MUST Currently possess Level III Texas Commissioned Security Guard License
• MUST Currently have the Personal Protection Officer endorsement.
• MUST Currently have a firearms qualification
• MUST Currently possess a valid TX Driver's License, or be able to obtain one prior to hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience since obtaining PPO designation
• Favorable driving history with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Ability to sit, stand or drive for long hours.
