Armed Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Guard to ensure the safety and security of designated premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security protocols, law enforcement, or military experience, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. This role requires a high level of alertness, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas using surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular security checks and inspections of facilities, entrances, and exits.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR if necessary.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Manage conflict situations professionally, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate potential threats.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs for all security-related activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to security breaches or loss prevention.
• Utilize surveillance technology and other security tools effectively to monitor premises continuously.

Requirements

• Must be Bilingual(spanish)
• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields preferred.
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and professionally.
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain a clean criminal record.
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if required.
• Physical fitness suitable for patrolling large areas and responding quickly to incidents. This position offers an opportunity for dedicated individuals committed to maintaining safety and order within various environments while utilizing their security expertise and emergency response skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
