As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, support visitor processing, and maintain accurate logs using a computer or tablet. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns with calm communication and customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing badges or passes as required, and maintaining professional visitor management practices.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, and cameras as assigned, and report irregular activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete required logs and reports, including access records, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
