Security Guard

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your main duty will be to prevent theft, violence, and unauthorized access to the premises. If you have a background in law enforcement or loss prevention, and possess excellent surveillance and conflict management skills, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:
– Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the security of the premises
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Write detailed incident reports
– Enforce property rules and regulations
– Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed
– Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– Valid security guard license/certificate
– Previous experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or a related field preferred
– Military experience is a plus
– Strong surveillance skills with the ability to identify suspicious activities or behavior
– Excellent conflict management and problem-solving abilities
– Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures is desirable
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
