About us

HERU SECURITY LLC is looking for armed officers for sites in the Columbus area.

All Security personnel are used at various locations that vary from in-store security, retail, gas stations, and parking lot patrols. You must be able to pass a background check to obtain your security guard card, have a current OPOTA certification, vest, weapon, and other needed gear. You must have your own reliable transportation.

Officers need to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. .

Requirements and skills

· Experience in reporting and emergency response planning

· Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

· Committed and reliable

· Education in security administration or similar field will be an asset

Summary

As an Armed Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our organization and its stakeholders. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will utilize your core skills in security and conflict management, along with premium skills in surveillance and first aid, to effectively respond to incidents. Your strong communication and leadership abilities will enhance team coordination and customer service. Additionally, your expertise in loss prevention will play a vital role in safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
