Armed Security Guard

We are looking for an OPOTA certified security guard in the Columbus Metro Area. You must be able to pass a background check to obtain our security guard card. You must have reliable transportation. You will maintain a high visibility presence with the goal to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter

Skills

• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only

Experience:

• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Groveport, OH: Relocate before starting work (Required)
