Security Officer

Continental is a full-service contract security company providing security services to our clients in the city of Toledo, as well as the rest of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Includes but is not limited to:

Security Officers will manage an access control point to the client facility. Security Officers will keep proper log entries of all visitors and contractors. Security Officers main purpose is to properly track and record all inbound and outbound truck traffic. Security Officer will monitor camera systems for suspicious activity. Security officers will ensure the safety and security of the client’s property and equipment from vandalism and theft. Security Officers will have to complete Daily Activity Reports every shift and Incident Reports when necessary. Security Officer will need to be customer service orientated, have great verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills and experience are necessary for this position.

This is a FT/32 hour position

Work Schedule: Sat/Sun from 0700 – 1500

Tues/Wed from 2300 – 0700

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from work
• Must have good Customer Service Skills
• Prefer someone with prior Security experience
• Must have good computer skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to pay attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
