Armed Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Armed Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
• Verify identification and authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining detailed logs of all entries and exits.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating potential threats or disputes promptly.
• Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency responders arrive.
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately for future reference and investigations.

Skills

• Proven experience in security roles with knowledge of law enforcement procedures or military background preferred.
• Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
• Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Certified in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in law enforcement or security are advantageous.
• Familiarity with security equipment such as access control systems and alarm systems.
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high attention to detail.
