Job Description
Your Opportunity as Security Guard
The Security Guard position will maintain control of personnel and vehicles entering the property, but most importantly to ensure employee safety. Security is a multi-task position that requires the assistance to many departments and to perform tasks that are not traditionally Security tasks.
Location: Chicago, IL Manufacturing Facility
Work Arrangements: 100% on-site, 3rd Shift
Compensation Base Rate: $20/hr
In this Role You Will:
-
Log Employees and Trucks in and out.
-
Monitor video cameras to ensure that the property is secure and safe.

Assist HR in investigations using cameras and other provided tools.
-
Assist the Safety Department with tasks.

Write Incident Reports when necessary.

Assist Contractors and Visitors.

Perform perimeter door inspections on a daily basis.

Maintain the Guardhouse clean and orderly.

Escort employees when necessary.
-
Shovel snow to assist with employee safety.

What We are Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
-
Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
-
Experience working in the Security field preferred.
-
Be dependable. Flexible and willing to cover weekends and or night shift.

Ability to write a detailed report.
-
Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
