We are currently seeking experienced and responsible Armed Violence Prevention Specialists who will also serve as Black Truck Drivers for our security fleet. Job Description:
As an Armed Violence Prevention Specialist and Security Black Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in our team, providing high-level armed security while ensuring safe and strategic transportation in a Black Truck, either supplied by the company or your own. You will focus on monitoring for violence, de-escalating potential threats, and ensuring the safety of clients, property, and assets, while also handling transportation duties for key operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide armed security and violence prevention services for various clients and events
- Drive and operate designated Black Trucks (either provided by the company or your own) for secure transportation of personnel and assets
- Patrol assigned areas in vehicles, ensuring safety and vigilance at all times
- Act as a visible deterrent to crime and violence, maintaining a strong presence
- Use de-escalation techniques to defuse volatile situations and prevent violence
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations, security breaches, and disturbances
- Escort VIPs, clients, or other individuals as needed, ensuring safe and secure transit
- Collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement when necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports of security incidents, activities, and vehicle usage
- Regularly inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards
- Adhere to all traffic regulations while maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism
Requirements:
- Valid state-issued security guard license and firearm certification
- Authorization to carry a firearm in [Insert State/Region]
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in armed security or violence prevention roles (military, law enforcement, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, public safety protocols, and crisis management
- Proven ability to operate large security vehicles safely (SUVs, trucks, etc.)
- Physical fitness, with the ability to handle extended hours of patrolling and driving
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills, with a strong focus on conflict resolution
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Option to use your own Black Truck for security operations (vehicle must meet company safety standards)
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in violence prevention, crisis intervention, or high-stress environments
- Prior law enforcement, military, or specialized security experience
- Familiarity with advanced vehicle surveillance or convoy procedures
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of local area and routes to ensure timely and safe transport
