The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Security Officer Chief for the Chicago-Read Mental Health Center located in Chicago, Illinois to plan, organize and direct all operations of the Security Services in compliance with Departmental and facility policies and procedures. Serves as working supervisor. Verifies appropriate security services staffing levels. Supervises, trains, verifies competency, evaluates, and provides progressive discipline to the Security Services. Coordinates security services activities with other disciplines within the facility and serves as facility liaison within the Department of Human Services, Law Enforcement Agencies, Community resources and Office of Inspector General (OIG).
Work Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm; Monday-Friday, 30-minute paid lunch
