Security Officer- FT (Overnight) Palatine

Security Officer – Full Time

OVERNIGHT (7:30PM – 7:30AM)

Three days a week with rotating weekend shifts!

Location: Palatine, IL

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

• Provide a welcoming, respectful, and professional presence for residents, visitors, staff, and guests.
• Deliver exceptional customers service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Work collaboratively with shelter staff to promote a safe, supportive, and orderly environment.
• Writing clear and accurate reports according to the Operations Manual guidelines to document all that you saw during the patrol.
• Remain alert, dependable, and courteous throughout the shift.
• Requirements:
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• A high school degree or GED.
• Successful completion of drug test and background check.
• Completion of all online and site specific training modules.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
• Ability to learn and use new software efficiently.
• Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States.
• Required licenses or certifications:
• PERC Card ( or have the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire).
• 20-hour Basic Training Certificate ( or be able to complete our 20 hr training online within 2 weeks of hire).
