Pay: $16.20 per hour
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Resident Security Officer for a part-time 3rd shift position in the West Loop. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in security who is available to work weekend overnight shifts. The officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the residents and property during the assigned hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the property and monitor surveillance systems to prevent and respond to incidents.
- Ensure that all residents and guests adhere to property rules and regulations.
- Provide a visible and professional security presence.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and disturbances.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of activities during the shift.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Assist residents with any security-related concerns or issues.
- Perform regular checks of entrances, exits, and common areas.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in security or a related field.
- Valid PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) card.
- Completion of a 20-hour basic security training course.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
