Job Title: Medical Security Officer
Shift: 3:30 AM – 10:00 AM, Monday – Saturday

Pay Rate: 16.20 hourly

Job Summary:
We seek a dedicated Medical Security Officer to assist with maintaining safety and security at a healthcare facility. The officer will make rounds, help patients, and report all incidents to the nursing staff. The ideal candidate is highly observant, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols and make rounds to ensure the safety of the facility.
• Assist patients with any security-related concerns or needs.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or incidents to the nursing staff immediately.
• Help to enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain order.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats.

Requirements:

• Valid PERC card (Permanent Employee Registration Card).
• Completion of the 20-hour Basic Security Officer Training.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with medical staff and patients.
• Previous security experience is preferred, especially in a healthcare setting.

• Competitive hourly rate.
