Compensation : Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-specific requirements, individual experience, internal pay equity, and organizational needs/budget considerations, all in alignment with our RML’s compensation philosophy. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on both individual and organizational performance.
The Security Officer has the responsibility of promoting a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff at either the Chicago campus or the Hinsdale campus. This is accomplished by patrolling the facility and campus, assuring that the building is secure, responding to emergency situations, taking charge during security incidents, reporting procedures & investigations, responding to special requests as well as performing other duties as assigned.
Reports to: Supervisor of Security and Director of Ancillary Services.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB REQUIREMENTS & CHARACTERISTICS
Good interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), teamwork, customer service, and problem solving skills. Able to work effectively with coworkers.
Formal training in crisis intervention within 12 months of hire.
Exposure to inclement weather.
