Weekend Security Guard

We are looking for security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Available Shift: Saturdays & Sundays | 5:00am-1:30pm

Location: Chicago Cinespace Film Studios

We are looking for security guards to work the NBC Television series Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD!

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working outdoors
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable working at a new location, daily.
• Must be able to stand and patrol for 8-12 hours
• Must have a valid Perc Card and 20 hours training certificate
• Perc card must expire 5/31/2027
• Must have previous customer service experience
• Must have a professional tone and appearance

Responsibilities:

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates

Skills

• Work experience as a security guard (preferred, not required).
• Ability to stand on feet for 8-12 hours.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
