Security Site Supervisor

We are looking for security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Location: Chicago Cinespace Film Studios

Available Shifts: Wednesday- Sunday | 5:00AM-1:30PM | 1:00PM-9:30PM

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a security officer role, with at least 3 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Must be able to stand and patrol for 8 hours.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must have a valid Perc Card and 20 hours training certificate.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Must have previous scheduling experience.
• Must have a professional tone and appearance.
• Must possess reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively motivate and guide a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the stage manager in scheduling the guards on a weekly basis.
• Ensure that all guards are in uniform on a daily basis.
• Assist on breaking each guard on shift.
• Ensure that all guards are prompt and placed in the correct position for their given shift.
• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates

Skills

• Ability to stand on feet for 8-12 hours.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
