Overnight Front Desk Security Officer

We are looking for security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer skills

Must have a valid Perc Card and 20 hours training certificate!

Location: Lagunitas Brewery | 2607 w 17th St, Chicago, Il, 60608

Available Shifts:

3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am

We are looking for 1 full time guard and 1 part time guard.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security measures
• Check all state identification cards to ensure all guest are 21+
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Must have a valid Perc Card and 20 hours training certificate.
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to stand and patrol around premises to complete daily rounds.
• Escorts guests, visitors, and employees to the correct destination in the facility
• Assist with crowd control
• Provides internal/external patrol of buildings and surrounding property
• Locks and unlocks doors to permit entry at appropriate times
• Checks buildings and work areas when not open for business
• Monitors camera's, alarm systems, access control and admits appropriate personnel per authorized staff lists
• Conducts ongoing inspections of buildings and grounds to detect safety violations and hazards
• Prepares accurate and complete written reports

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a security officer preferred, but not required.
• Officers work independently and under indirect supervision
• Officers are required to maintain daily contact with a wide range of people including guests, and employees
• Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Requires frequent standing, sitting, and walking
• Must be able to work – days, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays as required by location

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.25 per hour
