Kates Detective and Security Inc, has an immediate job opportunity for a Security Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned client facilities.
Generally, the Field Supervisor will ensure contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to the area. The Field Supervisor is the primary after office hours point-of-contact for all matters relating to each area facility and, as such, must coordinate closely with all operational, management, and administrative sections of the organization. Must have flexible availability.
Role Responsibility:Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to his/her area. Covering open posts at client facilities. Perform operations related functions (e.g., review and maintain incident reports, uniforms inspections, coordinate fleet vehicles, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
Respond to calls from officers in the field to assist with incidents and to oversee/ correct reporting and relaying of information.
Oversee the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers; May directly supervise security officers. Complete daily reports to ensure all field information is directed to management. Reduce overtime to a preset requirement designated by Kates.
Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing. Must have a GED or high school diploma . Must have worked in the security field at least five years.
Type and Length of Specific Experience
Must possess a minimum of 2 year work experience in a supervisory capacity.
Skills must include proficiency in various computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
Must have great oral and written communication skills.
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and critically think and make decisions independently.

Must have a PERC Card
Must be Armed and Qualified with active FOID and PERC. Must own a weapon (with receipt) and vest.
Must successfully complete a pre-employment investigation, including criminal background and controlled substance tests.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a Firearms Cert.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet state licensing requirements.
Must have a valid driver's license if a motor vehicle must be operated on the job.
