ABOUT THE JOB

We’re hiring for multiple full and part time posts in the Austin area. Let’s set up a time to call, and we can discuss the exact positions we have available that might work with your lifestyle and schedule.

General duties include providing a visible security presence, foot and/or vehicle patrol, property monitoring, CCTV, access control, report writing, hazard detection, and more. Specific duties and schedules of available posts will be discussed prior to any job offer being made, and we’re looking for candidates with the ability to serve in a variety of positions that may have different responsibilities, as the needs of the company may fluctuate over time.

EQUIPMENT

Company will supply multiple uniform shirts for all full time personnel, as well as an ID badge and any required communications equipment. Officer will supply black pants/shorts, shoes/boots, and belt, as well as a flashlight if working night shifts, and a notepad and pen.

REQUIREMENTS

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Valid driver’s license

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

· Level 2 security license, or ability to obtain prior to beginning work

· Smartphone

· Reliable transportation

· Night and weekend availability

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may require the following:

· Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time

· Rapid and/or constant motion around indoor and outdoor locations

· Fluent operation of a computer or smartphone for communication, report writing, and other tasks

· Traversing of stairs, uneven terrain, and other obstacles

· Constant positional changes

· Clear communication, discernment, and exchange of information

· Observation and identification of details at both near and far distances, during both night and day

· Light to medium physical effort in moving objects

· Ability to utilize rapid judgement in dealing with unusual or emergency situations

Environmental conditions may include:

· Indoors, outdoors, or a combination of both

· Exposure to extreme heat and cold

· Exposure to various weather conditions

· Locations with hazardous materials and where the wearing of personal protective equipment may be required
