Security Officer

Job Summary

You will be working to make the world of one of the largest global organizations safe, conducting patrols, searches, administering badges and delivering – at all times – outstanding customer service to our client and their employees.

Responsibilities

Working with the onsite security team, the Security Guard will fully and satisfactorily complete duties onsite which include, but are not limited to:

– Point of contact for security related matters

– Use and be competent in onsite access control systems

– Detect and prevent unauthorized access

– Respond to alarms within given time restrictions

– Monitor CCTV in accordance with local legislation relating to CCTV monitoring and data protection

– Badge administration (may include creating, printing, distributing, taking photos, auditing inventory)

– Visitor Management

– Vendor escorting

– Key Management

– Accurately and to a high standard, report incidents (may include maintenance, health & safety, first aid, emergency or other incident types)

– Asset protection

– Provide consistently high levels of customer service

– Frequently conduct site patrols

– Provide front of house (reception) cover out of hours and when requested during business hours

– Complete continuous training and development activities

– Seek to enhance the security stature of the site by recommending innovations and new way of working to site management

– Represent ACS and Securitas in a way that maintains the standards, brand and values of both

Requirements

– Ability to work with integrity whilst unsupervised

– Knowledge of access control software

– Knowledge of Microsoft Office

– Strong general IT ability

– Strong organization, communication and organization skills

– Proactive approach to all activities

– Ability to speak, read, write and understand English

– Ability to speak, read, write and understand additional languages

– Flexible availability

– Experience working within the corporate security sector

– Security license (as applicable to local laws)
