We are currently seeking experienced Event Security Guards for our upcoming events in 2025 including SXSW (South by Southwest) festival in Austin, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of one of the most dynamic and influential events in the entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

As an Event Security Guard, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring a safe and secure environment for event attendees, staff, and performers.
• Conducting thorough security checks at entry points.
• Monitoring crowds and responding to any potential security incidents.
• Providing excellent customer service to festival-goers.
• Collaborating with local law enforcement and event organizers.
• Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Proven experience working security for special events.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Possession of a valid Texas Guard Card.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including day and overnight shifts.
• A professional and proactive attitude towards security responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the SXSW event and venue layout.
• Prior experience in a similar role at large-scale festivals or conferences.
• Possess a black suit

Additional:

• Additionally looking for those who may be willing to commute to San Antonio area as well

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
