Armed Guard Supervisor Job Description – GS3
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Armed Guard Supervisor to join our GS3 security team. This leadership role involves ensuring the safety and security of assigned premises, managing day-to-day operations, and overseeing the performance of armed guards. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle security operations with professionalism and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Active Level 3 Commissioned Security Officer License in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in security or a related field.
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
Responsibilities:
Security Oversight:
- Patrol assigned areas to detect and deter suspicious activities or security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action.
- Monitor and enforce security protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Operational Leadership:
- Provide oversight and management of daily security operations.
- Receive and acknowledge staffing requests from clients.
- Assign and manage specific tasks utilizing GS3 resources.
Administrative Duties:
- Create and update case files and employee records.
- Utilize scheduling and time-clock software for effective workforce management.
- Process new hire paperwork and vendor-related documentation.
- Prepare written reports, evaluations, and conduct employee training.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
- Attend industry-related meetings and events as required.
Project and Research Support:
- Conduct research projects as needed for GS3 executive management.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies for investigations and emergencies.
Travel:
- Travel occasionally for GS3-related functions and assignments (extended travel is minimal).
