Armed and Unarmed Security Guards

Elite Protection International Security

Armed and Unarmed security officers needed in Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston and Austin areas. A qualified candidate MUST be available to work any and all shifts available at the time. Pay is hourly and very competitive for the area. Experience for this position is a must. All applications and/or resumes are being reviewed as they come in. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Inside and outside foot patrols

Maintain a safe work environment

Report writing through touring system or printed forms

Detain people refusing to leave property or facility

Interact with local law enforcement, fire and medical agencies

Communicate with authority

Be hands on when needed

Respond to medical emergencies

In-depth understanding of the Use of Force Continuum

Education/Certification Requirement:

High School Diploma or GED

Taser (Optional with Certification)

Baton (Optional with Certification)

Pepper Spray (Optional with Certification)

Special Skills (Preferred):

Strong communication skills with an ability to verbally deescalate upset guests

Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook

Proficiency in the use of a smartphone and touring system apps

Ability to evaluate situations, identify issues and react in an effective manner

Ability to work in a vast spectrum from customer service style to hands-on engagements

Must Haves:

Must be a United States citizen or a legal resident authorized to legally work within the United States.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule and fill posts when needed or required.

Must be able to operate and communicate with a radio and telephone.

must have reliable transportation to and from work.
