Armed Guard

Job Summary
As an Armed Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises. Your role will involve preventing theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Duties
– Conduct regular patrols to ensure security of the premises
– Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms
– Respond to emergencies and alarms promptly
– Enforce laws on the property
– Investigate disturbances
– Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Skills
– Proficiency in loss prevention techniques
– Military or law enforcement background is beneficial
– First aid and CPR certification preferred
– Strong conflict management skills
– Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques
– Possession of relevant certificates/licenses is a plus

Requirements

-Active State of Texas License

– Criminal Background Check

– Drug Screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.66 – $21.83 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• State of Texas License for Armed Guard (Required)

Security clearance:

• Secret (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Austin, TX 78752 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Austin, TX 78752: Relocate before starting work (Required)
