Events Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing loss, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Duties

• Conduct regular surveillance patrols of the premises, both on foot and via CCTV systems
• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activity or potential threats
• Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and deterring theft or unauthorised access
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including emergencies, disturbances, or accidents
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established protocols
• Maintain detailed incident reports and log activities accurately
• Control access points by verifying credentials of visitors and staff
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required
• Conduct routine checks of safety equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or loss prevention is desirable
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
• Physically fit with the ability to patrol large areas on foot if necessary
• Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information and situations
