Security Officer

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
• Prevent, deter and reduce anti – social behaviour and crime within the local area
• Support businesses and retailers with shoplifters and ASB related incidents
• Foster relationships with members of the public to help build trust with local police services

– Work with local community and police in terms of anti – social behaviour and prolific offenders within the area

Job Description: Security Officer

• Assist local retialers with deterring shoplifters as well as assisting with the detaining and processing shop lifters within the local area
• Assisting police with incidents and offenders within the local area as well as local retailers
• Prevent and deter crime and anti – social behaviour
• Work with applications such as DISC and C247

Experience:
– Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures is a plus
– Strong observation skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
