We work closely with managing agents, estates, developers, and commercial clients, providing reliable, compliant, and high-quality security solutions.

We are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our London portfolio.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the effective management of security operations across multiple sites throughout London. This role requires a proactive individual who will act as the first point of contact for clients, manage site performance, resolve operational issues, and work closely with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets contractual and regulatory standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day running of multiple security sites across London
• Ensure all sites are staffed correctly and operating in line with client contracts, SIA standards, and company procedures
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure high standards of service delivery
• Manage incident response, escalations, and operational challenges effectively

Client Liaison

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding operational matters
• Handle site queries, requests, and service issues in a professional and timely manner
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, property managers, and stakeholders
• Attend client meetings, site walk-arounds, and reviews when required

Team Management

• Work closely with the manned guarding team, ensuring officers are fully briefed, supported, and compliant
• Liaise with and coordinate the vehicle patrol drivers and key holding / alarm response teams
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of security staff where required
• Manage performance, conduct investigations, and handle disciplinary matters in line with company policy

Cross-Department Coordination

• Work alongside other internal departments to ensure seamless operations
• Coordinate patrol routes, key holding responses, and vehicle usage effectively
• Support the control room and scheduling teams to ensure operational efficiency

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with SIA regulations, company policies, and client requirements
• Review incident reports, daily logs, and operational documentation
• Investigate incidents and produce clear, professional reports
• Support audits, accreditations, and client compliance requirements

General Duties

• Be available for operational support outside normal hours when required
• Support senior management with operational planning and improvements
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, procedures, and service delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or Senior Operations role within the security industry
• Strong knowledge of manned guarding, mobile patrols, key holding, and alarm response
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities across London
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• SIA licence (desirable)
• Strong organisational, reporting, and problem-solving skills
