We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds, reporting any irregularities or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid when necessary.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks and implementing appropriate measures.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required during investigations or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during long shifts.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid or willingness to undertake training is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with staff and visitors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
