Position: Relief Security Officer
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links
Requirements: Must possess a valid SIA license
Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
Friendly face, approachable and keeping people safe
Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors.
Meet and greet staff, visitors and contractors.
Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed.
Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
Remain 100% alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour.
Patrolling and securing the area.
Monitoring and analysing CCTV camera footage.
Guarding valuables in a secure area.
Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
Responding to alarms and emergencies.
Communicating any irregularities with management.
Keeping an incident report record.
Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, traffic control and accident investigations
Checking visitors in and out of the area.
Escorting visitors around the premises.
Ensuring compliance with government regulations
Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
