Job Description
To provide security services at various sites across a defined geographical area as required.
Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements.
Delivering the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. (NB: the prospective Security Officer must have acquired the full SIA licence before being able to start work on operational shifts).
Display an outstanding level of customer service.
Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have.
Display the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer.
Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
Book on at the beginning of each shift and make check calls in accordance with Company policy.
Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.

Essential Skills
Valid SIA Licence.
Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
3-5 years’ experience in security
Have knowledge of Access Control System
Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach
Excellent risk management and problem-solving abilities
Incident Management
Good administrative skills, including incident report writing
Proficient in IT and computer systems
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
A customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle complex situations
A keen focus on providing excellent service to both staff and visitors
