SIA Door Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to oversee access control and maintain safety at our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of visitors, and property, while providing excellent customer service. Duties

• Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
• Perform loss prevention duties by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or vandalism
• Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary
• Enforce rules and regulations in a courteous yet firm manner, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, visitor entries, and security checks
• Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure safety and orderliness
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards

Skills

• Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• First aid certification is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided if required
• Organised with the ability to follow procedures meticulously
• Physically fit with the capacity to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly to incidents

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
