Security Supervisor – Corporate Building (East Croydon)
Location: Near East Croydon Train Station
Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week
Pay Rate: Starting at £15.00 per hour. To increase following probationary period.

About the Role

We are looking for a Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at a corporate building just minutes from East Croydon train station. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll supervise a team of security officers and work closely with the Building Manager to ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for tenants, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervise and support the on-site security team.
• Oversee daily security operations, including patrols, CCTV monitoring, and access control.
• Work closely with the Building Manager to assess risks, resolve incidents, and maintain security standards.
• Carry out incident reporting, risk assessments, and regular audits.
• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure shift coverage.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing development for your team.
• Act as the main contact for tenants and contractors on security matters.
• Respond effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Be flexible to meet client and business needs, including occasional adjustments to hours if required.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Security Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Officer.
• A pro-active nature and ability to use own initiative effectively.
• SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV Licence.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Solid knowledge of security procedures, risk management, and health & safety.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet client expectations.
