Pace supplies high quality and professional security officers to a wide variety of sectors including world-renowned educational institutes, high end residential, multi-million pound corporate offices as well as much more. Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit for a number of Community Safety Accredited Officer and First Responders for our world-renowned educational client in the Uxbridge area.

Shift Pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off

Shift Times: 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00

Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour

As a Community Safety Accredited Officer and First Responder, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of the community. Your responsibilities include:

- Promptly responding to intruder and fire alarms across the site, demonstrating swift and decisive action in emergency situations.

- Acting as a visible deterrent against anti-social behaviour and disorder, contributing to the overall safety of the area.

- Maintaining unwavering vigilance at all times, ensuring potential threats are identified and addressed proactively.

- Exuding a friendly, helpful, and welcoming demeanour towards visitors, fostering a sense of security and trust within the community.

- Providing assistance to tenants in resolving problems and addressing concerns, exhibiting empathy and understanding in all interactions.

- Collaborating with the client and other key stakeholders to address issues within and surrounding the site effectively.

- Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services, facilitating seamless coordination during critical situations.

Role Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

- Possession of a valid SIA Door Supervisors license, demonstrating compliance with regulatory standards.

- While a CCTV license is desirable, it is not mandatory.

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in security roles, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

- Proficiency in verbal and written English, enabling clear and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.

- Exceptional customer service skills, characterised by empathy, patience, and professionalism.

- The ability to think quickly and decisively in high-pressure situations, demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

- Physical fitness is essential, as the role entails extensive walking and standing.
