Door Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. This job require experience in Bars and Restaurant of min 5 years. This role would require night shifts of 3 days a week. Usually Thursday till Saturday. around 20-25 hours.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Door Supervisor will oversee entry points, enforce venue policies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
• Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential threats.
• Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary and liaising with emergency services as required.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage within the venue.
• Enforce venue policies, including age restrictions and capacity limits, ensuring a safe environment for all patrons.
• Maintain clear communication with security personnel and management regarding any incidents or concerns.
• Prepare incident reports as needed, documenting any occurrences that may require further investigation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security or supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of surveillance techniques, including the operation of CCTV systems.
• First aid certification is highly desirable; training may be provided for suitable candidates.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with staff and patrons alike.
• A commitment to upholding health and safety standards within the venue.
