Working Pattern: 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00

Rolling 12 weeks, irregular shift pattern, consisting of days, nights and weekends shifts. The shifts are weighted more toward nights and weekends.

Hourly Rate: £18.94

In the role of Operations Security Officer, you will provide a high quality of security, reception, patrol, emergency first response and external guarding for the client.

The emphasis will be on excellence and quality service delivery, this will be enhanced with an in-depth overall knowledge of building security function.

The Role

• Provide immediate response and assistance in the event of any major/minor incident or emergency
• Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it
• Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities
• Prevent any unauthorised access
• Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
• Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
• Work as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements

About You

• Previous experience of security within a corporate environment
• A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
• You must hold a valid 3 day first aid at work certificate that is in date
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be fluent in both written and spoken English
• Knowledge and experience with security systems and other security related technology
• Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
• A team player with good customer service skills
• New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
