SIA Door Supervisor

*Job Summary*

As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining security and ensuring the safety of premises, staff, and customers. You will play a crucial role in preventing theft, vandalism, and disturbances.

*Responsibilities*

– Conduct surveillance to detect and deter suspicious activities

– Perform regular patrols to safeguard the premises

– Manage access control by checking identification and verifying credentials

– Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents

– Provide first aid assistance when required

– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

*Requirements*

– Previous experience in security or a related field is advantageous

– Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies

– Familiarity with CCTV systems and their operation

– First aid certification is desirable

– Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

• To be eligible for this role, you must have a Valid SIA Licence and be,

•Able to deal with confrontational situations

• Able to liaise with local authorities

• Turn up on time and be presentable (Clean and ironed uniform, clean boots/shoes)

•Able to work as part of a team

• Able to not be sat on you phone all night!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
