Door Supervisor / Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guards to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our premises, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site, and preventing any potential losses. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, along with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Majority of the work will be Night shifts.

Paid through PAYE, Self employed with UTR Number or limited company.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security
• Conduct regular inspections of premises, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the facility
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when required

Experience

• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies
• First aid certification is advantageous
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
