School Safeguarding Officer

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises.

Responsibilities:
– Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security
– Patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
– Warn persons of rule infractions or violations

Experience:
– Previous experience in security or related field preferred
– Ability to educate individuals on security protocols and procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required)
• Safeguarding Certification (required)
