Position: Security Contract Manager – Drumsheds

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Schedule: 40 hours per week (includes evenings and weekends)

We are looking for someone who champions our values to join our operations team as a Contract Manager for Drumsheds, a unique venue reimagined from unused warehouses that now hosts a mix of music, culture, and art events.

Main Duties:

• Build, maintain and develop positive working relationships with the customer and their teams through the planning and delivery of effective security and stewarding.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure profit and loss aligns with business aims and customer requirements.
• Manage recruitment processes, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and onboarding new team members.
• Deliver ongoing training to the front-line team members and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with our compliance team and be responsible for ensuring compliant working practices are maintained.
• Respond to incidents professionally and promptly.
• Conduct appraisals for the front-line team.
• Ensure effective service delivery, including accurate and timely scheduling, including absence management and holiday planning.

Requirements:

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in people management and leading a team.
• Proficiency in various software tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
• Previous experience in working at relevant deployments, such as, live music venues, exhibition centres, large scale sporting events, football stadia etc.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings.
• Be at the event venue during operational hours – 33% of contracted hours to be completed on deployment

Qualifications:

• SIA Door Supervision Licence
• Driving Licence (Preferred)
