Job Summary
We’re looking for professional, well-presented SIA Door Supervisors for event and private hire shifts at a private events venue near the Kingston upon Thames area. This is a customer-facing role working alongside the venue’s in-house team to keep events running smoothly and ensure licensing conditions are met.
This is not a stand-and-watch role. The focus is on presence, professionalism and approachability. You’ll need to look the part and be comfortable engaging with guests politely, whether that’s asking people to keep noise levels down, checking nothing is brought in that shouldn’t be, or assisting guests to leave calmly at the end of the evening.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the shift
- Monitor entry and exit points and politely manage what’s brought onto the premises
- Engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner
- Work alongside the venue’s Duty Manager and team
- Help guests leave calmly and politely at the end of the evening
- Use the radio provided to stay in contact with the venue team
- Report any incidents or concerns
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (must)
- Smart, professional appearance – black suit essential
- Confident, polite communicator comfortable engaging with guests
- Punctual and reliable
- Right to work in the UK
- Available evenings and weekends (typical shifts run from late afternoon to midnight)

- Short walk from a main line train station
- You will be required to complete one or two other shifts at a different London location before being deployed to this venue.
Contract type
- Zero hours / casual. Shifts offered as and when available, with no guaranteed minimum hours.
- Strong performers will be added to our regular roster and offered ongoing shifts across our wider client base.
Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour
