OFA Level 3 Security Guard

Overview
We are currently seeking multiple OFA Level 3–certified Security Guards to provide on-site security and first aid services at our transport yard in Richmond, BC. This role requires a reliable, safety-conscious individual who can work long, fixed shifts and respond effectively to emergencies in an active yard environment.

Duties

• Provide security services for the transport yard premises
• Monitor yard activity, vehicle movement, and access points
• Conduct regular patrols of the yard and surrounding areas
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide OFA Level 3 first aid when required
• Maintain first aid supplies and ensure readiness at all times
• Handle workplace injuries and coordinate emergency response
• Observe and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or suspicious activity
• Complete incident, injury, and daily activity reports
• Communicate clearly with drivers, staff, and management
• Ensure company safety and security procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• Valid OFA Level 3 certification (mandatory)
• Ability to work 48 hours per week (4 × 12-hour fixed shifts)
• Must be open to day or night shifts
• Experience in security, industrial, or yard environments is an asset
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to remain alert for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
