(Lower Mainland) Security Operative / Doorman – Weekends and Weeknights

Quantum is hiring proactive security professionals where the right candidate will play an integral role in enhancing our clients’ services. We provide security for the hospitality industry, working in a restaurant/lounge environment, ensuring the security and safety of both staff and patrons.

We are currently in a busy summer season and are looking for permanent, experienced security professionals or even those looking for casual/seasonal employment for extra hours.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

What you will do is provide security services to our clients in the restaurant/lounge industry. We take a proactive approach to security by stopping problems before they become problems, and provide a security-minded opinion on daily happenings at the establishment.

Candidates who have future aspirations of law enforcement will benefit from this strategic security position where they can develop and demonstrate – communication skills, de-escalation techniques, tactical observations, risk assessments, public engagement, and proper note taking and documentation.

YOUR SKILL SETS

• Attention to Detail
• Valid Security Workers License (BST)
• Previous Security Experience
• First Aid
• Previous Customer Service Background
• Driver’s License with access to a vehicle (preferred)
• Proficient in English (reading and writing)
• Attention to Deportment

SHIFT HOURS

• Shifts available 7 days a week; primarily for weekends and weeknights
• Available work locations in Downtown Vancouver, Coquitlam, Delta, Surrey, New Westminster, and Burnaby.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
